Roomwise — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Roomwise ("the app", "we", "us"), provided by Edin Ramovic, handles your information. By using Roomwise you agree to this policy. If you have any questions, contact us at roomwise.app@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Roomwise collects only what it needs to work:

Account information — your name and email address, used to create and manage your account.
Photos — room photos you choose to upload, used to generate design suggestions and layout estimates.
App activity — the rooms, layouts, and plans you create in the app, so we can save and show them back to you.
User ID — an identifier that links your data to your account.

We do not collect your location, contacts, messages, financial or health information, or advertising identifiers. Roomwise contains no ads.

How we use your information

To provide the app's core features — room analysis, design advice, and the furniture planner.
To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
To save your rooms and layouts so they're available when you return.

We use your information only to operate and improve the app. We do not use it for advertising.

How your information is processed

Roomwise uses Google Firebase (authentication and cloud storage) and, to generate design suggestions, sends the relevant room information to a secure AI processing service (OpenAI) through our own protected server. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Information is shared only with the service providers above strictly to operate the app (for example, storing your account or processing a design request), and only as needed to provide the feature you requested.

Data security

All user data is encrypted in transit. Access to stored data is protected behind authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your Roomwise account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app:

Open Roomwise and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

What is deleted: your account, your name and email, your uploaded photos, and all rooms, layouts, and plans you created. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Retention: your data is removed promptly upon deletion. Routine backups, if any, are cycled out within 90 days.

If you can't access the app, email roomwise.app@gmail.com from your account's email address and we will delete your data on request.

Children's privacy

Roomwise is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
